I lived in Cape Town in South Africa. I had moved there with my family when I was fourteen years old. The students had not liked me and it hadn't been easy to find a boyfriend. I carried on dating Alan for three years. On a trip to the Garden Route had had proposed and I had said yes. We had got married on year later an honeymooned in Madagascar.
